Riding thru Bad News

On Wednesday, I finally found my fate for this fall with attending law school. Well, my fate became sealed in a thin envelope. Yes, law school is NOT going to happen this year.

After this bad news and then a very rough day at work, I went out for a long bike ride along the lakefront. My agenda was 8 miles, but I ended up with 14.4 miles because I wanted to keep going. I never though that bad news would encourage awesome mile splits.

Strike THREE!!

Yes.....it happened AGAIN! Same emotions. Same frustrations!

Now down to ONE law school left - my #1 pick. I hope to get some good news instead of the rejections.

Now I can only wait....

Strike TWO!!

Yup! Two days after receiving my 1st rejection letter, I received my 2nd one from #3 pick while home sick with sinus issues. I received it only less than ONE WEEK after receiving a confirmation that my application was complete and notified that a decision would take 6 to 8 weeks. It is a very disturbing observation.

It now leaves my #1 and #4 law schools picks. Right now, I am starting to not care which one I get into as long as I get into a law school period.

I am supposed to schedule to volunteer for Sunday's Shamrock Shuffle, but playing day by day right now. I need to focus on resting and allowing this crap to run its course so I return to work on Monday.

Back to wedding planning to keep my mind off this development.

Strike ONE!

I got my letter from one of my law school applications.

Unfortunately, the news is not good. The news stung and dealing with it as best as I can. I still have three schools to hear from. I hope to get better news soon.
