....and it was a very important one. We FINALLY received our new mattress from Costco (which we totally recommend to everyone!) after many weeks of sleepless nights together since I moved in back together. (Ok...I am a heavy sleeper, but have had some rough nights lately.)
Here's a simple explanation of how thankful we are:
5 weeks on the Josh's old futon - 5 weeks of sleepless nights and backaches
+ 2 more weeks on his hideaway bed - 2 more weeks of sleepless and more backaches (plus a big future chiropractor bill since I finally have medical insurance again)
A very nice, soft, yet firm mattress and a new comforter/sheet set from Linens and Things (which I really did an awesome job to match the bedroom)
+ One happy couple and one happy pug who will FINALLY get some decent and sound sleep = PRICELESS!
Here's a picture of Josh tossing out the old futon. He found out that the other tenants turned his futon into an outdoor smoking lounge chair (until it's taken or becomes soaked from a big rain).
Well, off to keep this post short. Off to enjoy our first night!
