The BAD - my run this morning. I really, really suffered by two things - my PF and running the first time after starting a new medication. I will have to wait until Tuesday to get both resolved. No running tommorow anyways. I was only able to 6 miles instead of 10. I did the best that I could do under circumstances. I am in a taper right now so I have some time to work on this.

Mile 1 - 9:46/mi
Mile 2 - 9:55/mi
Mile 3 - 10:05/mi
Mile 4 - 10:01 (and 0.25 walk part too!)
Mile 5 - 10:08/mi
Mile 6 - 10:24/mu
Time - 1:02:13
Avg Pace - 10:22/mi - MY WORST in months!
The GOOD - After my run, I went home

to relax and try to enjoy the rest of my day. Josh and I rode our bikes to a bar where we enjoy the HUGE bloody mary bar and a great brunch. We then rode down to Clark Street where I finally checked out a dessert place for some yummies before getti

ng rained on during our ride home.
We spent the late afternoon at the doggie park and beach when the weather finally cleared up. Sadie seemed to be very popular at both places with the dogs and people. Josh even took her out to get a nice swim in Lake Michigan.

Tommorow - Back to work and rest day!

Looks like a fun day!
You did the best you could. That counts for a lot.
Look at it this way...your worst pace would be my BEST pace.
You are still among the best runners I know. I'm amazed at how many more good days you have than bad.
Enjoy your taper, sounds like it came at just the right time. I'm sure you'll do splendidly!
sorry about the PF and med issue, it sounds like a lovely day after all though, very nice :)
Sadie is one cute lil baby!!! I'm so jealous - our bloody mary events are usually 1/10th of that size.
Sometimes your body tells you you need to run shorter...it's important to listen to your body.
You did the best you could... you just gotta listen to the body..
On a different note... bloody mary bar? I NEED to check that out whenever I get down to Chi-town again! :)
