Well, I am in my 2nd of PMS and I had some really bad moments today. Well, I decided to take some moody behavior out with my weekly fartlek workout. My goal was to get 8 fartlek splits. I was able to get 7 out of 8 done. I need to tweek how I will do them. Overall, I think I did great.

Split 3 - 1:59 (8:17/mi)
Rest 3 - 1:07 (9:43/mi)

Split 4 - 1:56 (8:39/mi)
Rest 4 - 0:54 (9:17/mi)

Split 5 - 2:00 (8:21/mi)
Rest 5 - 1:02 (9:46/mi)

Split 6 - 1:59 (8:38/mi)
Rest 6 - 0:59 (9:57/mi)

Split 7 - 2:07 (8:33/mi)

Slow Run (Semi Cool-down) - 14:55 (9:43/mi)
Total miles - 4.87 mi (9:15/mi)

One thing I am excited about is that tommorow starts the first of some rest days with Josh working on my next life project. We are starting to look at buy our first house in west suburbs - mostly in Northern Berwyn/Oak Park/Forest Park/River Forest. We would like to be moved in no later than September so we can relax at the last stage before the Chicago Marathon. We might move as soon as late-July if we find something good sooner. It will also be great to be our own house when Josh's 40th birthday approaches.

We meet with the realtor tommorow afternoon to look at houses. The fun begins.

Hi Denise. It's been a while since I hit your blog.

Nice job on the speed work. Tracking and posting your recovery time is just as important as the running time.

You do have a lot going on. Good luck with the house hunting.

Glad to see you're running Chicago. Me too and I'm already excited.
