It was a great day outside - but a little windy and chilly by the lakefront - so I did my 40 minute run this afternoon after work. I struggled to finish the second half of my run as Josh and I ran against the wind. My GI track was not happy with the additional resistance.
At one point, I was going to stop at 35 minutes. But I did not give up at the end and completed my workout.
Mile 1 - 9:32
Mile 2 - 9:22
Mile 3 - 9:38
Mile 4 - 9:11
Mile 0.24 - 2:14 (9:14/mi)
Avg Pace - 9:25/mi
Tommorow - 35 minute run EASY

Way to go. Hopefully it will warm up soon in Chicago. We are getting back-to-back-to-back gorgeous 70 degree days here in NYC.
I bet that was beautiful by the water, or at least it is in the summer.

That wind when we were going north was absolutely brutal! I want to brag to your readers that you took to the challenge better than I did (by running nearly half a mile further than I did). Awesome job!
40 minutes is about 39 minutes too long! LOL Could you tell that I hate Cardio
