Running.....OUTSIDE!!

Yes it's true!

Josh and I FINALLY ran outside today. The weather was NOT something that I did not want to pass up along with having to tackle a tough day. We did what was SUPPOSED to be an easy 35 minute run. Well, Josh had other plans and awesome negative splits came about instead. My legs are still a little sore from yesterday's leg beating...aka hill training. But I do have to say that the hill training has really helped a lot. The bridge on the lakefront path near North Avenue does not overwhelm me last last October. It was very easy for me to run up the bridge and across.

Mile 1 - 10:02
Mile 2 - 9:32
Mile 3 - 9:21
Mile 0.67 - 6:05
Avg Pace - 9:31/mile

Tommorow's workout - Cross-training (outside OR indoors!)

BTW, Josh and I got the GREATEST piece of mail today - OUR race confirmations and race numbers! I think 12011 is my LUCKIEST race number. Bring on Shamrock!

It was close to 50 here yesterday. I wish I had gotten home sooner so I could've run longer and enjoyed it. It was another shorts day though.

Beautiful range and what a splendid weather. And deliciously this way together to run on the range. Look, however, for the blessure at the hill training.
Nice foto!.
