Confidence does pay off.

Josh and I had this interesting conversation at Triple Crown last night about a song we heard overhead.

J: Isn't that song sung by Joan Osborne?
Me: No, it is.
J: I swear it's sung by Joan Osborne.
Me: No, it's not and confident of that.
J: Do you want to make a bet over it?
Me: Yes I do.
J: Well, what do you want to wager?
Me: You have to clean our toilet for TWO MONTHS.
J: TWO MONTHS? Isn't that a little harsh? Well, then you have to massage my feet for five minutes twice a day for two months.
Me: Deal (shaking hands to confirm the bet)

Well, today I had a great 30 minute run on the treadmill. Very easy and felt very strong. 6 more days until the Shamrock Shuffle. The weather still looking iffy. I won't be confident until Saturday.

Meanwhile, as I was going my 30 minute run, someone was cleaning his first toilet for the next two months. Confidence does pay off in the long run.
