Legs are a little tired to run today....

....but that's okay. I know that they are getting a little bit stronger. The combo of running and weight training has really helped over the last 2 months. I am getting faster. My legs are getting more skinny and toned up (hence the ability to fit into long lost shorts that I almost gave up on.) The muscles are getting stronger. (Did I say that earlier?)

I am allowing a slow day following by a 15 session involving a 5 gallon buckets and LOTS of water and ice for my right shin. Quite painful, but helped a lot.

Mile 1 - 10:37
Mile 2 - 10:36
Mile 3 - 10:34
Total - 31:50
Avg Pace - 10:36/mile - VERY consistent and slower, but still NEGATIVE splits!

Yup, coming along nicely with those 10 minute miles... I remember the days of pickle buckets :-)

Good job on the run. I need to get in the gym for more strength training -- I think my weak muscles have been the source of reoccuring knee problems.
