Great running day

After a very crazy day at work, I was so happy to get out and run outside for 3 miles. Today's run felt so much easier and very little pain in my shins. The first mile was a little tough on my lungs, but once I was warmed up I did well. After a cold couple of days, it was so good to run in warmer weather. The splits even looked great and all negative too.

Today Josh and I signed up for the Bucktown 5K on 9/30. The post-run goody bags look great and worth the cost of the race.

Mile 1 - 10:17
Mile 2 - 10:03
Mile 3 - 9:58
Total time - 30:20
Avg Pace: 10:06

Next run: Saturday - 4 miles

What? They give away goodie bags at races? I'm going to have to start paying more attention :-)

Be careful with the bucktown 5k. There are potholes everywhere!

I tried to see the tape in the pics of you getting stretched out...too hard to tell, what does it look like?
