....when I received a page from my previous job about
this.
I can not believe this! This is the exact route that I took to work everyday at my old job. I don't know what I think right now. I have not felt this way since 9/11.
Please send prayers to the families who are affected.

i came straight to your blog when I just heard... oh my god. shock indeed
I also checked your blog right away. How awful. I can't believe it just...collapsed. From now on I'm going to freak out when I drive over bridges.
That little "accident" runs the whole gamut of human emotions. Unbelievable, ridiculous, sadness, tears... How could something like this happen?
I know, the feeling is overwhelming -- especially when it's "home." We were shocked last night when we turned on the news and there was 35W on the TV! We called our family and friends in MN right away. No one we know was injured, but a couple of close peeps had literally drive over the bridge at some point in the day. It's hard to even consider that they could've been there at that moment.
It gave me a sick feeling. I can't imagine the horror being on that bridge when it collapsed. It's one of those things you just never think will happen.
Freaky, when you think how close it could have been. I'm glad your family is safe. It's amazing that some people were able to just walk away.
I was away when this awful tragedy happened...I remembered you were in MN before moving...but I had NO idea this was on your route to work. Whoa.
Prayers have been and will continue to go out to MN, so sad.
