It's a girl's weekend...

....well, sort of. It's me and Sadie pug this weekend alone in the apartment while Josh tackles the Indy Mini tomorrow with the other guys (and gals). Well, instead of heading straight to the gym, I had to head home first to let Sadie take care of business and THEN go to the gym. This meant tackling the damn crowd that just left the Chicago Cubs game while riding the 22 bus. **sigh** Oh well. I got there just in time before the gym got too busy. Instead of tackling the elliptical tonight, I choose the recumbent bike instead at a very challenging endurance level with the HILLS. I kicked ass as usual on it as I read my magazine and listened to my iPod. I could not get the exact mileage, but it was over 11 miles for 35 minutes. After the workout, I headed to Jamba Juice on the corner of Diversey and Clark. Then I head to my restaurant, Aladdin's Eatery, for my favorite Veggie Hummus Wrap. Yumm! Then I head to Baladoche, for a even more yummy Belgian waffle topped with Dark Chocolate Shavings (Did I mention how much I LOVE chocolate?) It was a small treat after being very good lately. I have lost 4 lbs in the last 2 weeks with another 13 to go. (See my traineo profile for a progress!) I would like to lose most of the weight before a wedding that Josh and I will be attending at the end of the month. I know that I can do it. I need to work hard for it. Plus I am celebrating another awesome semester. I made Dean's List again for the third time (fifth time lifetime) for a perfect 4.0 GPA this semester. I have 6 classes to go before I graduate with Bachelor of Science in December 2007. I can not wait! I currently have a combined GPA of 3.228 and only 0.12 away from graduating with HONORS! WHooohooo! When I got home, I sat down and ate my dinner and dessert. Both very good! I also am enjoy another glass of sangria to relax after a very rough day. Well, off to spend the rest of the evening relaxing before heading to bed at a decent time. Still need to catch up on sleep. Good luck, sweetie, tommorow! You will do GREAT!

Sounds like you should be sipping some champagne with that veggie wrap. Nice job on the grades streak!!

And, as someone who spent a lot of time last year on the recumbent bike, that's a pretty impressive time/mileage there. Maybe I need to tweak my iTunes lineup.
