More far

Here's what going far. (Note: Please bear with me because I am under influence of Banana Schnapps and Diet finally RELAX today. Too much crap happening all at once.)
  1. I AM moving on the weekend of St. Patrick's Day (missing out on the drinking...DAMN!)
  2. I gave notice on Friday and boss has already talked about the possiblity of a PARTY for me involving alcohol and a bar. **HUGE grin***
  3. I have the LONG job of throwing crap away and packing what I am taking with 12 days. EEEEEEK! (Self, I need another drink!)
  4. Josh will be here in 6 days to help me pack.....THANK GOD! So much to little time.
  5. I won tickets to see "Love Janis" at the Ordway on March 14th on my local radio station out of chance. Bringing my mom with me. Last Mom-Daughter things before the move (BTW, she knows about the move...and plans to help as much as she can. Thanks, Mom!)
  6. My son will be get a great lunch with his mom...aka ME...tommorow....and getting a great present too. (Sony PSP...and some games)
  7. FINALLY meeting my mom's boyfriend on Monday night...with my kids.
  8. I worked my LAST Saturday tonight at my current job. (CUE the cheers...YAYYYYYY!)

Well, that's all of the details as of right now. Time to get some sleep so I can pack tommorow...and also throw stuff away before the kids arrive.

Here are some more details:

1.  Your new job is located just 2 blocks from a 15 minute massage joint.  There's a blind guy who gives the best (but most painful) back massages.

2.  I've decided where to take you to celebrate your moving here.  (HINT: Beware the spicy chicken while you wait for the light to turn green.)

3.  I'm going to Binny's today to purchase a bottle of banana schnapps to have ready, so you feel at home here.

Do you think there'll still be snow in Minneapolis when I come up there this week?  Why can't you be moving from someplace warm like New Mexico?

See you in a few days.  I'll be the one looking to skin that a-hole groundhog for lying to us this year.

Super exciting. It's great that your mom is supportive of the move and Josh is coming to help you! I don't think it will be as stressful as you are thinking.

Keep us posted!

OH...And still waiting for the other BIG NEWS!!!! Although I have a couple of great guesses ; )

Wow, that's so quick...I'd so be freaking out!! Hmm...let's hope my house sells quickly and I get a quick turn around on a move too...hmm...and a job change maybe...(just for more money!).

Josh - remember, we are in MN, spring comes around mid-April if we are lucky, so if we get spring by March 21, that is an early spring!! And we are getting spring, March came in like a lion...just have to suffer through boys basketball tournaments (we always get snow that weekend).

Whoo you sound bussssy!!! Congrats on your new job and the move though! And good luck with all the packing. Don't forget to take breaks for your runs, which will totally help de-stress. Although if there isn't time for that, there's always the alcohol :o)
