Quiet and easy day.

Nothing new to report today. I picked up my pre-race stuff, including my plane ticket for my flight to Phoenix. I am taking it very easy today because I am still very tired from another long night.
Here's some pics that I received from one of my fellow TNT teammates from the last long run on December 23rd. To the left is the group shot of all of us FREEZING outside. I am on the left side of the group all in black. Take notice that I was the ONLY one wearing YakTracks.
Here's another shot of me to the right side of the picture trying SO desperately to stretch out the damn leg after over 5 miles of running.
Tommorow will be a cross-training. I will making sure that I follow through with it too. Please continue with sending songs for the half-marathon. The more the merrier.

Quiet and easy days are needed sometimes.

Banana Pancakes by Jack Johnson. It always makes me smile.

Looks like loads of fun, and you guys are all bundled up real good! I admire you for getting outside this time of year.

I'm shivering just looking at that photo. And I had to smile -- the other day I found my own YakTracks (known as grippers where I'm from). Given it rarely rains and never snows, I'm not sure why I save them -- maybe to someday run in MN with a certain Firefly!
