Pre-long run cross-training done...

....and getting ready to do an awesome long run tommorow. The weather is 47 degrees right now and LOTS of sun showing. I am REALLY, REALLY hoping for at least 30 degree tommorow morning when I join my fellow TNT-ers for a long run. There's a HUGE incentive for running tommorow - a MASSAGE at the end by a local chiropractor clinic who's donating their time to work on those who are heading to Phoenix. My coach has me 9-10 mile this week, which I believe is do-able for me. My focus right is on the long runs - not stressing myself out if I do not get any regular runs in and use the cross-training on the eliptical to keep up the endurance. There's 35 days left before P.F. Chang's and I will enjoy the time I have left to train and run hard on race day. "Selfishness is not living as one wishes to live; it is asking others to live as one wishes to live. Unselfishness is not interfering with other people's lives." - Oscar Wilde. Today's work-out 40 minutes 4.16 miles 433 calories burned 9:36/mile - Can we translate this into a strong run tommorow? hmmmm!

So the true test is tomorrow, eh? With 35 days left until the marathon, listen to your body well, and have a great long run. I would trade you for your 44 degrees :-)

Your training has been fabulous! I think you will love your run tomorrow - you are so psyched. You are ready for Chang's!

I, too, would trade for your temps.

You not only deserve a massage after a long run but for working such long hours lately! :o) Let us know how it goes!
