Here piggy, piggy......

Yes, the Gophers brought back Floyd of Rosedale back to Minnesota. I was SO happy to see the score when I came home from the gym. (The people in the gym did not want to switch the channel for me. UGH!) Plus the Gophers are NOW officially bowl eligible. Whooohoo! They had two bowl games that were interested in the Gophers earlier - Insight.com Bowl in Tempe and Motor City Bowl in Detroit. It is truly a HUGE Gopher win. NOW I can focus on being a temporary Wolverines fan against Ohio State. Speaking of my workout today, I ROCKED on the eliptical machine today. I bought myself a new ankle splint, after I got a haircut (more a trim), to use during the cross-training (during the break-in phase) and eventually will be used when I go back to running. I feels AWESOME!! I think I found the ideal brace to use on marathon day. The bottom of the brace will DEFINITELY need to be broken in because it rubs against my heel, but really kept my ankle from moving side-to-side. It's a lot better than the damn aircast. On top of the Gopher game today, I have HOCKEY on my mind. My beloved Avs play the Wild today in Wild country. **sigh** I REALLY hope they bring another victory tonight and make it two in a row. But I will have to see after the game. GO AVS! Tonight's my best friend, Chris's band - Hazen's BIG GIG tonight. They will be AWESOME tonight. I know they will very successful tonight and play their hearts out. ROCK ON, guys! Tommorow will be another cross-training day due to a schedule conflict on Monday, which will be a rest day. Today's work-out 45 minutes - Eliptical machine 4.48 miles 528 calories burned 10:02/mile - OH YEAH...Firefly's back! (Almost!)

Congratulations on the Gopher victory.  I'm glad they won, because living in Chicago I'm sick to death of the Hawkeyes, who seem to have a lot of fans in this town.

Keep up the training.  You're doing great.

BTW, I was inspired by your example and I tried the elyptical today at my new gym.  I was only able to do 25 minutes.  I'm so out of shape!  I'm going back tomorrow to try again.

Why would you root for Mich. . ., I can't even bring myself to typing that places name. I heard it was going to be a part of Canada, but the Canadiens dug a bunch of deep water filled holes to keep it on the US side.

Go Bucks!
