Another sad post-season day in Twins Country :(

They lost AGAIN....oh pooh! :'( I really hope they come back after one day of rest. They really need it BADLY. Anyways, today was a much smoother day. My leg is feeling better. I know that I am in the need of an adjustment to my hip again....especially after Saturday's run. The ice and epson salt baths seem to help for now. I woke up a little bit late this mornings so I decided to bring the run onto the treadmill again. I made sure that I brought a towel so I did not have to look at the time like yesterday. I got my favorite treadmill, which seemed to help a bit during the run. I also passed the time with watching the Twins game. I was able to increase my speed throughout the run while giving my body time to get used to the new speed. I am noticing that I am slowly going faster on the treadmill, but I am not pushing myself through the process. When I was finished with the run, I stretched really well and headed home. I plan to get an outdoor run in tomorrow and will work on a route tonight. Today's work-out 5 mile run (treadmill) 59:17 548 calories burned 11:51/mile

Living in Chicago, I certainly understand your baseball disappointment.  Maybe next year for the Twins...

What are you going to do with all those calories you burned?  Something yummy, I hope.

Are you coming to Chicago for the marathon?  I'd love to meet you.

So sorry about the twins. But your workout on the treadmill was great.

That's awesome about the run and pains being gone. Looks like my foot is definitely mending...I'm not really a baseball fan, but I do root for the home boys of course, it's sad they are not doing well...there is always a hope they can come back.

Finding new routes is fun. I ran at lunch today and managed 6.5 miles up a path near work, I had a nature type reserve on one side and 494 on the other...:)

Sounds like you had a great run...what you described reminds me of my treadmill runs at the ASU gym. Oh how I miss them!

I never thought I'd ever say that I miss the treadmill. They make me feel fast!

For some reason your post made me happy. :)
