Rest day......prepping for Twin Cities Marathon

I am glad that today's a rest day for me. My legs needed it as well as my upper body - especially the muscles connecting my shoulders and chest area. They were really sore! OWWWW! My left calf was a little sore today again today too. But once I put my roller onto it, the knot was loosened and went away. Ahhhhh! Plus I slept very peaceful last night thanks to take Advil PM before going to bed. I got my 8.5 hours in and felt very rested. Tommorow's another rest day unless something else changes. Moving onto the subject of Twin Cities Marathon.... I know that MG has mentioned this in her blog back in August. I hope that there's a few RBF members who would interested in cheering on the runners in the Twin Cities marathon. I work at the University of St. Thomas, which is at mile 22 of the course and would help out with parking by parking in their ramp and walk onto Summit Avenue. If you want to carpool together, let me know. We could meet at my place in Roseville or somewhere else and carpool together. I am thinking about getting the course by 8:30 am before the crowd arrives (at least I hope so!). Let me know if you are interested.

Enjoy your rest day!

Wish I could be there to cheer you on at the TC marathon. I'll be there in spirit and I'll be waiting to hear all about it.

I guess we will be running a marathon on the same day. I have heard a lot of good things about the Twin Cities Marathon. I think we all need some rest at this point. It's getting close. Later.
