8 miles done....
....and my legs do not like me right now. They are aching and screaming at me. But I know that I worked hard to get the miles done. Thank goodness tommorow's rest day because I think they will need it DEFINITELY need it.
I had to switch machines after 22 minutes on the eliptical machine. It was REALLY busy when I arrived at the gym this morning. I did not get my favorite machine right away, but was able to get on it was free. It's so gloomy and chilly outside that people are wanting to stay inside. I will definitely need to move and get up early if I want to do any cross-training during the weekend.
I have been looking forward today it's official kickoff of the college football season and regular football season. I love the Vikings, but I have THREE favorite college football teams. I root for MN Golden Gophers since I live here. But when I lived in Colorado over 13 years ago, I became a HUGE fan of University of Colorado Buffalos (or I call "Buffys") and Air Force Falcons because I watch the games since I only lived 3 miles south of the stadium off on Academy Blvd.
The Gophers are playing Cal tonight. My buffys are playing our in-state rival Colorado State, which will be VERY interesting because my baby cousin goes there. The Falcons are playing the University of Tennessee Volunteers and hope they STOMP them to shut the critics up. I will be busy checking game scores today and into tonight.
Today's work-out
1 hour 27 minutes - Elliptical machine
8.09 miles
968 calories burned
10:45/mile

It always sucks when you don't get the preferred machine -- I always like back row, corner spots.
I DO like college football over the NFL. But, I am still a basketball/baseball girl at heart! Good job on your workout!
Great job with the workout!!
I am not a UT fan, at all, so I hope they were stomped. I think orange is just ugly!
Great job on the workout.
nice workout!, watching football can be fun especially with snacks! :)
Good job on all your workouts. How are things feeling in you ankle? Is there a test drive in your future? Just listen to your body.
Yes...snacks are a must! :-)
Another big college football fan! I love it!!
great workout. I wish my legs had unlimited endurance too! Enjoy the rest day.
It's funny cause I am totally into college hockey, namely the Gophers since it's my alma mater, and pro football, and of course the Vikings...I can't really get that into pro hockey or college football and it's just strange!!
Go Buffs!! Hopefully they can pick themselves up after a bad beginning to the season.
