5 miles - turned into cross-training
Well, according to my training schedule, I am supposed to do 5 miles of running today. But due to the amount of running I have done this week and what I still need to do on Saturday, I decided to do some cross-training today and keep the mileage I was scheduled for.
I am SO glad that I did because my legs feel so GOOD today as a result of it. It was really awesome to get it done. Time flew by again. It was awesome plus the sun FINALLY came out today.
It was a cold start this morning with possible frost in nearby communities outside of the metro area. I still need to get a moisture-wicking long sleeve shirt for a future run. I am NOT prepared for this cold weather. I have the pants for layering, but nothing for 40-50 degree runs to wear until it gets really cold. We have an upcoming running store sale this coming weekend. I am trying to hold off until after next weekend.
tomorrow's another 5 miler before a rest day scheduled for Friday. I plan to keep it indoors until I get the necessary supplies to keep me warm.

I miss that turn of weather. But I'm sure if I was actually there, I would feel differently.
