100th post!!

I can not believe this is my 100th post. Wow! It has been a long ride since I started my blog in June 2006. I have really grown and increased my speed over the last 3 months. I have dealt with one injury and issues with my IT band. I started my marathon training program last month. I have met a lot of person within the RBF. It has been AWESOME!! I have dealt with the heat and rain (ah...sort of!) I have ran two more 5K's - both within a WEEK of each other. I hope that in the next 100 posts that I grow more as I train towards P.F. Chang's Rock and Roll Arizona Marathon in January. I hope to get more faster and reach my goals. I have at least one more 5K left before the weather turns cold here in Minnesota. Well, moving onto today's run, I did my 1st outdoor run around Lake Calhoun. I was a little nervous, but I stretched and fueled before I started my run. The weather was absolutely beautiful today. I was able to run with my TNT shirt and shorts still. The breeze from the lake felt SO awesome!! Once I started running, I was able to keep going and not stop 'cept for a small drink halfway through the 3 miles. I did not feel any pain in my IT band and shins. No side stitches! It was awesome. I am really sold that my shoes are working very well. I did not speed through my run. I ran at a very comfortable pace, but was shocked at the finish time. I am really sold that I am feeling better. Tommorow's either going to be rest day or a cross-training day. It depends on how the rest of my week's schedule goes. Friday and Saturday are up in the air. I will know more tommorow. Today's work-out 3 miles - run (outside!) 31:40 10:33/mile - HOLY sh**! Wow!
