Saw the doc...now WAITING for x-ray results

First of all, I would like to say how much I HATE fasting for yearly physicals. It's a major pain and I am always a crap afterwards. Thank goodness for mid-morning naps. Well, I went in to see my doc for my yearly physical. I did bring up the ankle/foot issues. The doctor looked at my foot, which caused post-exam pain. Owww! I had x-rays done and now waiting for the results. I really wanted to check this out after reading Laurie's blog entry yesterday. Double owwww! Please bring positive thoughts. I hope that this just a really bad sprain or strain where I can slowly get back to running in a couple of weeks. I did not do my work-out today. I will push back my work-out until tommorow where I will do 4 mile or so on the eliptical machine and 6 miles on Friday and Saturday (until I get the green light for the doc to run or no more pain.)

I hope the x-rays don't reveal anything that will keep you off your feet for too long. Thinking positive thoughts for you!

Positive thought coming your way!

I too just had the fasting physical. My thought is that those of us who haven't eaten should be seen FIRST!!! It was after noon before I got out of there and I was about to pass out!

Have patience and keep the faith. You may need to just rest it, but we'll see what the x-rays say. Good luck.

I hate waiting for results!! I will send positive thoughts your way. Always good to listen to your body and your doctors. As runners we can be hard headed at times.

Love the vedio links on your web page!!

Weird that the technician didn't immediately fill you in (it's your right under HIPAA) or that results would take long. In any event, I wish you well on the diagnosis.

Wish you only the best. Hope it is minor and you are running again soon!
