Cross-Training Wednesday

Well, it is another nice day. A little bit more warmer, but still nice. My leg muscles were sore this morning, besides having a charlie horse in the middle of the night during my deep sleep. Owww! After getting up and eating some breakfast, I headed to the gym for some cross-training and upper body weight training. It felt good to get my legs loosened up and move. I took it easy and did not be a speed demon on the eliptical machine. It was nice to get some excess energy out of my system too. TWO DAY until my BIG exam. UGH!! The test anxiety is creeping up on me. I spent A LOT of money and my career depends on it too. SO much pressure! After my work-out, I headed home, showered, and ate some lunch before carpooling to work with the hubby. Once I got to work, I worked on homework before hitting the studying for the exam. I took easy and did not cram as much. I will put more ice on my calf muscles, stretch and use the Stick again before going to bed. Tommorow's another run day. I promise myself that I will take it easy again - or at least try to. Friday's a rest day since it's exam day. Saturday is my FIRST long run in my marathon training. The group run is on Sunday, but I am working a LONG shift so I can not go. Today's work-out 45 min. Cross-Training - Eliptical Machine 4.25 385 calories 10:35/mile

awesome..I think saturday is going to be my first long run..How many miles would be nice first long run? I'm thinking 8-10.??? I don't know...

Actually, just 4 miles **smile** Starting low and going UP to 20 by Christmas.
