Awesome news day!

Well, the anticipation is fine gone. I got the results of the BIG test! And....... I PASSED!!! Wooohoo! I am now eligible to be a police officer in the state of Minnesota. I am not officially a police officer until I get hired and my licence is activated. Now the real fun begins. Welcome to the jungle! Anyhoo, today's a rest day for me. I am glad that it is because my legs ached when I woke up this AM. Owwwwww! The mileage took a toll on them, but eased up once I started walking around this morning. Last night, it was VERY busy in the weather department. We had storms like crazy for most of the morning and in the evening. There were also reports of at least 5 tornados in South-Central MN causing a lot of damage. There was a lot of rain and a lot of HAIL - baseball to softball-size stuff to be exact - which caused a lot of damage. I was one of the lucky ones and did not see any of the hail - thank goodness - but was able to see the streets flooding and manhole cover popping off from the water pressure. To my RBF friends in Chicago and Michigan, WATCH out! The system is heading YOUR way...sorry! The clouds have been around most of the day again. I hope it clears up by tonight so I can have a sunny run tommorow. Tommorow's 4 miles and Sunday will be 6 miles with my TNT group. In the meantime, check out Forbes' list of drunkest cities. My city is near the top...at least I will have a job to keep me busy.

Congratulations!!! That's awesome news.

For some reason the list of drunk cities wouldn't work! I was wanting to see where I should go on my next vacay. =)
