It's a miracle...

....and it FINALLY rained. It woke up this morning with the lightning and thunder, but it's better than being HOT. It was very dark this morning and most of the day. If it was not for the lightning and thunder, I would be outside in the rain and running. It was hard to get out bed this morning, but I knew that I had a lot of things to do today before I headed to work. I woke up and prepped before heading the gym. I had to turn on a light in order to get ready at 10 a.m. I opened up all of the bedroom windows and then the patio until I left. The air felt VERY good...so enjoyable. I then closed the patio and left at 11 a.m. for the gym. At the gym, I spent 45 minutes on the elliptical machine as I read another chapter from my textbook. It was good session today and worked really hard as usual. When I finished my work-out and stretched, I noticed that the rain has temporary stopped, but the sky was still very dark. Since the lightning and thunder stopped, I took the opportunity to shower up before I hit the errands and head to work. First errand was to the Post Office to mail two applications off. Simple. Second and last errand was the records office at the LE school to pick my official transcript so I bring it to the school I officially graduated from. Then I will bring the official transcript from the school I graduate from BACK to the LE school so I can take the MN POST exam in August. **sigh** Too much work for a simple test. Well, after I finished the last errand and grab some lunch, I went to work. Tomorrow's another cross-training day unless it will be VERY nice and I will go for a run. Today's work-out 45 min - elliptical machine 4.39 miles 10:15/mile 519 calories

I know it's probably not the safest thing, but I LOVE being out in a thunderstorm. Thunder and lightning is so amazing! As long as you have something dry to change into when you've had your fill :)

Oh boy, I'm amazed that you're able to exercise and read for class at the same time. I give up once my pages start getting wavy from all my sweat. It's funny how I can mark up a book like crazy but it irks me when the pages get wavy. lol

Great workout

If I hadn't been at work during that storm, I SOO would've been out in the thunder and lightning...last rain run I did I was running 10 miles in it...I figure I have rubber soled shoes, I should be OK!! :) I like the elliptical too for being able to read while on it.
