Cross-Training Thursday

Today was pretty smooth day, considering I stayed up late until 2 am last night to FINALLY start working on my corporate sponsorship letters for TNT. I got 3 corporate sponsorship proposals out today in the mail - with 5 more letters planned to get out before next week. I have been seriously slacking in kicking off my donations letters. I have my personal donation letter done, but waiting to find out who our honor patients are before sending it out. I can not wait to start fundraising and have more high hopes this year compared to last year. Well, I woke up at 9:30 this morning - not too bad. My husband had came into the bedroom and sat near me around 8:30 as I was trying to SLEEP for a little bit longer. Once awake, I climbed out of bed with my two kitties nearby greeted me on the bed. I ate and organized myself so I can take care of an errand or two before I arrived at the gym. I had to complete the 2nd step of getting transcript taken care of so I can take the MN POST exam in August. I made my way to my almater. After talking the records clerk= who's handling all of the Law Enforcement students, my transcript will not be ready until at least July 25th (3 days before the deadline to turn my transcript to the LEO school - UGH!). I just had to drop it off and come next week to pick up. I also headed the bookstore to pick up some proposal folders so the stuff I worked on last night looks very professional when I mail them out. Next stop was the gym. I spent 45 minutes on the eliptical machine before heading to the weights to work on my lower half and abs. It was a very fun work-out. I finished the 2nd half of Chapter two in my textbook. My legs felt very loose and flexible when I lifted today - which felt really good. I looked at the forecast for tommorow. It's supposed to be in the mid-70's - PERFECT running weather for me. That's as long as the rain holds up until the afternoon. ***crossing my fingers** I am SO itching to get out for an outdoor run since I has been almost two weeks. Time will tell. Today's work-out 45 minute - Eliptical machine 4.42 miles 10:10/mile pace 519 calories Weight Training - Lower Body and Abs
